Choosing a paint colour for open-plan layouts can feel overwhelming — and I completely understand. With so many fixed elements, materials, and colours in one large space, it’s easy to get stuck. That’s where I come in.
To evaluate your space properly and make the right recommendations, I’ll need:
Clear photos of your kitchen, living, dining, entryway.
Close-up photos of your kitchen finishes, including:
Stone benchtop
Splashback
Upper & lower cabinets
Photos of your flooring (tiles, carpet, timber, hybrid, etc.)
Photos of any curtains or window coverings
The colour of your window frames
Please note: If you’re still designing or building a new kitchen and haven’t yet selected your stone, cabinetry, or splashback, I won’t be able to provide accurate paint recommendations. Paint colour comes last— once the fixed elements are chosen.
